Karen you are exactly right about that. This whole asylum thing is moot once you accept the notion that Juan Miguel speaks for the boy.

How I love to hear those that rail against bleeding heart liberals for meddling in people's lives advocate that very thing. How those that advocate Family values are prepared to discard them in the name of "But we know better." That some how a life filled with Nintendo and DisneyWorld away from his father is to be preferred to even a life of chopping cane with his father.

There are none so blind as those that will not see. They look at a picture of a little boy and his father delighted to be reunited and rather than leave them to their joy they look for track marks and signs of doctored photographs.

The only jack booted gestapos around these parts are the extremist thought police that define themselves by their unending diatribe against their Satan's Clinton, Reno and Castro. Thought police that would trample a little boy in their headlong pursuit of denying him the very liberties they say they are protecting.
