I don't think this kind of press will do much to move the stock price in the short term but it does help in the long run.

Looking at EPS estimates for this year and next.

FY00 around $1.35/share = Forward PE of 25
FY01 around $1.80/share = Forward PE of 19 while EPS growth will be around 33%.

Taking a 33P/E x $1.80/share gives 'fair value' to be around $60/share within the next 18 months or so. So, $60/share would be a 75% return from today's price of $34/share.

I think the above estimates are fairly conservative and that actual growth in earnings will be closer to a 40% low end average for the next 2 years. This give ATMI an even higher upside, IMO.

I more than doubled my initial position yesterday under $32. I'm finished with my buying unless we fall below $30/share.
