I dont know how roadrunner can give you any guarentees. I have athome. I often test the speed and have seen my connection as slow as 28K and as fast as 1.5m. The problem is it is not consistent. As more people in your neighborhood get cable modems the speeds go down as you share the same pipe. I have had athome for more than a year now.

I use RR (39.95 month) and have had no problems. GTE not offering adsl in my area of Houston
