Hi Jim McMannis; Re Intel and those 2-year out DDR machines. Look at it from the other side. Intel announces eventual support for DDR-SDRAM desktop machines! Delivery in 2002! It probably will take them about 2 years to get silicon optimized for DDR, given that they've been ignoring it up till this past summer, and have pushed the desktop guys towards RDRAM only. But their server stuff will support DDR fairly soon. All in all, like Scumbria said, bullish for AMD. -- Carl
