Mike/All:

First (3) questions, then a couple of ideas.
1. Would you mind listing a few of the internet positions you like (although waiting for prices in single digits)
2. Any puts you would consider as it is an up day in the techs. I am having trouble finding any I like considering the premiums are so high.
3. Any buywrites you would do to take advantage of volatility ? (my thoughts below)

Regarding the bxm, gztr, gzsp merger. At first I didnt like it (I know my calls on bxm still dont like it) but as I evaluate this, it seems that the market is valuing the resulting enterprise at a final capitilization of 420 mil based on 35 mil remaining shares at about 12/share. This seems incredibly cheap given that the combined entity will have about 250mil (in noncommodity sales) going forward. What you think... Also, how are the options handled going forward are they converted into options of the resulting enterprise ?

Second, I think a buywrite on TGX seems like a great deal. Great company (no debt, profitable, capital in place) and you can do a buy at $9 and sell the dec 10 calls for 2 1/4.
Seems like a decent potential return with limited downside.
thoughts?

Michael

>>I expect to get all the ones I like in single digits. <<

I plan to buy at much lower prices too, but single digits? Do you have a timeframe as to when this will occur? And shouldn't these be heavily shorted if your analysis is correct?

PS Great call on ANCR. I made money on it last year because of reading this thread.

MB,

Aside from the ones you mention what do you think of the following companies. I have sold majority of my positions but would like to get back in them but the entry points would probably be about 50% of where they are today.

ALLR BVSN VIGN (portal builder tools, I like ALLR the most)
AKAM INKT (good technology not easily duplicated)
EPNY ( good market not sure how good their technology is but they are buying some good companies)
JNPR (best routers but can they compete with CSCO also price too high)
NETE (interesting co. but will companies buy its technology or will enCommerce succeed)
VITR (good sector with interesting targeted vertical, can they stand competition from TIBX)
SLTC (good technology but can it compete with Trilogy?)
WEBM (possibilities exist but market cap way too high)

Non internet
TMBS (only stock I am cost averaging into right now. my favorite of all time, I am still hurting over this one
ELN (But I liked them better when they were a pure drug delivery play)
