A chronic disease such as the speculation culture embedded in the society usually keeps the patient bedridden for a long time before he kicks the bucket. Unless a cardiac arrest, such as the LTCM fiasco, pops up, I suspect that bulls and bears, myself included, will be jerked around by the price actions for a while.
