<G* retire G* debt @ 36 cents on the dollar, by purchasing G* debt in the open market, with their own money, right now ?).> This is where you earn your keep Jon, sorting out all this weird interest rates bond stuff which nobody on earth can understand.

It sounds good to me; use the cash in the bank earning nothing much at all to buy-back the bonds on the market and simultaneously do a 1:4 rights issue to raise money to finance the buy-back and get a big stash of cash to go through the next year or two with no revenue [to speak of] and fund the second constellation development.

Those bonds look like a great buy for the company right now.

Machiavelli would be proud of Globalstar, [which will perhaps do well from the slow rollout after all].

Of course, as soon as anyone gets wind of the idea, the price of the bonds will roar back up and so will the stock so we won't be able to get our grubby little paws on them. John Cuthbertson did, but that means he owns those instead of the stock, which is NOT a good idea, in my opinion anyway [because I don't have a clue what the bond stuff means].
