I only pick my nose in my car while waiting for a green light.

Jman, in the final analysis do you really think with all your intense analysis of charts and price trends (and consequent hand wringing and trading) that you will outperform buy and hold? I don't. And besides, the extra time I have as a result of being confident in my investments is that I have more time to pick my nose.

Pick a time when you bought your Q shares and give me the price. I'll do the same. No need to discuss share amounts, we'll just apply it to 100 shares. I'll start:

I bought 100 shares of Q on 2/24/99 for 75 7/16ths (actually I did) for a total of $5673. I have not sold. The investment is now 800 shares worth $84,000.

Now if you would find a similar position in Q and disclose when you traded out of it we can start comparing apples to apples.

Jman, I know you think I am a good for nothing nose picker, but I did this little exercise years ago and found that I was a failure at trading when compared to buy and hold. So I changed (I also took into consideration my TIME that was spent staring at charts all the time...OUCH!) Maybe you are better...don't know...but you ought to consider thinking about doing this kind of analysis.

Your nemesis,
<H>

I believe Diamond was saying he lacked the class to say

"JMan, you hit it right on the button"

which nose are you referring to?
the one on his left or right face, two-faced you know?
