"when faced with his dilemma."

Wow .. you'd call the actions of Nixon a 'dilemma'?
What would you call My Lai then, a misdemeanour?

But we digress.

Mi hijo

C'mon Frank...you're not gonna compare how Nixon soiled the office of President with how Bill soiled Monica's dress...? ;-) No arguement, Bill could not keep his fly zipped, humiliated himself and the office, deserved public rebuke and shame, and of course gave the righties plenty of ammo on a silver platter. But we all know Nixon didn't have a shred of character...he resigned knowing that successful impeachment was a given, so he proactively resigned and got out of town by the skin of his nose. Sorta like the old saying "If you're getting run out of town, at least run ahead of everyone so it'll look like a parade." End of history lesson.
