It may have tanked, but earnings sure wasn't the reason... biz.yahoo.com $0.23 vs. consensus estimates of $0.20. McDonald quoted as saying the business is strong everywhere... Interesting item. They paid $13 million for 6 million shares of Bookham, which as of today were selling for around $40 a piece (value = $240 million). Not a bad return on their/our investment. Now they need to figure out what to do with all the free cash flow. It will be interesting to see if they mention the Power TV spinoff in the CC. DWB
