Among the assumptions you must make to arrive at your predetermined conclusion is the assumption that personal choice of location of residence is the result of political stance only.

It is not. Not any more than all activity on a workday is motivated by economic factors [as evidence i offer myself right now pointing out clear fact to a closed mind].

While the thoughtful among us will remain open to the obvious possibility of coercion in re Castro's current control of family members, we will also remain open to the equally obvious possibility that Juan Miguel genuinely prefers to live in Cuba. Never have we heard politics from him, so there is no reason to suppose that his choice is on that basis ... there are a great number of factors in people's choice of home, and familiarity and family connections are often highest on the list.

It is his right to exercise his preference, and the fact that you don't like the politics of the dictator of his country does not give you the right to take his son.
