. . . A few thoughts as we advance. . . . . Nasdaq 100, Compx and Dow all making new highs here. . . at 2:30pm EDT. That feels better. AVNX still breaking out. . screaming shorts in tow. . . .after trading 1/3 its float. I can't seem to buy enough A.T. & T. here. .. just feels like it is getting ready to explode. For those super-long termers. . . that don't care as much about the wireless play. . . check out UMG [in its varied forms]. . .MediaOne Group was approved today for merger with A.T.& T. . . until it happens they have various versions that pay dividends. . .also, T pays a dividend. . . so there are a number of ways to play. . . MediaOne is an exceptional company on its own. . .but I believe that it generally lags the merger amount. . .making it the better deal for the longer term. . . provided it continues tracking T. Also, LMG.a often tracks T. . . while LDIG tracks LMG.a. . . anyone that can recite the total number of stocks affiliated with A.T.& T. should win an award. Now that we are getting some legs here. . . I expect a late day rally to begin and extend into tomorrow on 2nd & 3rd tier tech favorites. . . . Watch: LDIG, MMPT, XYBR, HAUP, IRSN, TFSM, OMKT, HLIT. . . etc. . . . Likewise, as the rally finds its legs, keep a close eye on Biotechs for some hard bounces. . . GENE already showing signs of life. HGSI, PDLI, CRA, etc. ALSO. . . watch wireless stocks. . .like PTEL, NXTL, PCS, etc. . . and wireless data stocks like SVNX, AETH, INSP, etc. Those that have run really hard the past 2 days, could see a bit of a rest here tomorrow. . .as the ball gets tossed around the court. . . concentrating on the most solid blue chip techs. . . and the most promising 2nd/3rd tier overlooked techs.
