A most intriguing patent! If the physics works as advertised, I'm frankly amazed it took this long to get to commercial consideration. Usually, toolmakers are quick to grab this kind of advance, test it, and bring it to market (at least in test mode) in well less than 13 years.

If Mr. Gilson's gonna get rich from this patent, he'd better hurry....

I met Gilson some six years ago (give or take), he wanted me to introduce him to VC's to develop the same technology, but I was "underwhelmed" then by his "development" and few inquiries I made for him came out empty. He might have something, but I for one, am still a doubting Tom about it.
