Get a clue, this Kid has been moved to some UNDISCLOSED farmhouse in MD. No public reporters or anyone trying to protect this kids interest to stay in the US is allowed near, that should tell you a lot there. The issue is not whether Elian should be raised by a great uncle and cousin vs. a father. The only chance JMG has to raise Elian is to defect. He wont do that because Castro is holding his mother in house arrest until he comes back with the boy. If he returns, Castro will raise Elian like he raises all the other cuban children -- by sending him to a camp to be indoctrinated in comunism and perform forced child labor. So the issue is who is better qualified to raise Elian; Castro or Miami family. My answer is Miami family since at least Elian has a chance of growing up free with them. But my answer does not matter here. A family court should had been involved from the beginning in making this call. Not the INS, not Reno, not Clinton and definitively not Castro. Juan Miguel is just another Castro slave, he will do as he is told or he will be imprisioned or killed along with his mother -- period. Cuba is not just another socialist third world country. Thats why we have special laws to deal with people that make it here from there. Elian has a legal right to ask for asylum. That legal right is been violated by Castro with Clinton's help. > Everything is one big consiracy to the likes of you.Prez/Congress/Courts are all thugs, huh? Were you one of those idiots protesting in Washington last weekend? I will not post again on this subject. Promise. If you dont find something suspicious about this saga, then I am wasting my time with you. The Washington protesters were expressing their freedom of speech. That very same freedom that you mock is the freedom that makes America what it is. Freedom to disagree with the government without fear of been prosecuted for it. If you allow your government to trample on your or other's freedoms and dont protest against it pretty soon America will be just another police state and our system of government will fail.
