Supporting twice the port capacity of its closest competitor and incorporating redundancy in all critical systems, the FC/9000 gives IT architects the first truly enterprise-class platform on which to build storage networks that can scale seamlessly and provide uninterrupted availability for users. The high-end segment of this market, denoted by channel directors with capacity of 32 or more ports, is surging at over 100% CAGR. The FC/9000, which provides full duplex, gigabit-per-second bandwidth and support for Class 2 and 3 Service Levels, is the first in a series of Fibre Channel Directors from INRANGE that target the high-end of the storage market.
