I think we're in the wrong forum, but I'll respond briefly.

Had you listened to the Sun conference call for the most recent quarter (it might still be available, and I commend it to you) you would have heard Sun management say that the dot-com startups are only a small part of their business. Large, established companies are "dot-comming" their businesses and doing it with Sun equipment.

BTW, I'm curious why Motorola would standardize on X86 machines rather than, e.g., Apples -- don't they make chips for those? It seems odd to hear you praising the Itatium (sic), too.
