Not really. In a server environment, DDR will be much more inefficient than RDRAM at utilizing its maximum bandwidth. DDR attempts to make up for this by having a higher theoretical bandwidth, but that means DDR's sustainable bandwidth will only match that of RDRAM's.

Let me revise what I said earlier. If the issue were one of sustainable bandwidth, RDRAM would win. But in servers, other issues come into play, like cost per MB and maximum capacity per channel.
