Scumbria, <DDR provides more bandwidth than current implementations of DRDRAM.> Not really. In a server environment, DDR will be much more inefficient than RDRAM at utilizing its maximum bandwidth. DDR attempts to make up for this by having a higher theoretical bandwidth, but that means DDR's sustainable bandwidth will only match that of RDRAM's. Let me revise what I said earlier. If the issue were one of sustainable bandwidth, RDRAM would win. But in servers, other issues come into play, like cost per MB and maximum capacity per channel. Tenchusatsu
