I'd imagine you would get some fraction of a satellite, but you would have to figure out how to get up to orbit to collect it.

(My apologies, couldn't resist!)

...would common stockholders get anything in the case of a chapter 11.

BUT, in the event that Globalstar LP [or more accurately, the Service Providers] really did lose all the current investor value, somebody else [Verizon?] would take it over and sell retail minutes for 20c a minute and do extremely well. At some stage, well before $1 per share, that would happen. This is a highly successful technology and the main thing missing at the moment is good service provider marketing.

We need more gateways, roaming, licences and low minute prices. But we are getting there and by the end of this year, things are going to look a lot better than now. By the end of 2001, investors should feel Globalstar is well on the way.
