Dear Yaacov: Bye now you must know the answer, but just in case, CPQ certainly met the consensus earnings estimate of 16 cents. there is a slight squabble by some of the analysts as to whether they beat it or not. Some are including the 3 cents of investment income (total then 19 cents) in their writeups others are including only the operating earnings (16 cents). Personally, I think the latter is the proper method but I suppose it depends upon what the analysts originally considered when making their consensus estimate to begin with. JDN
