Slider perhaps you are correct that it is "too early" to take a fully invested stance in the oil sector. Frankly, I am not. I'm slowly and cautiously easing up to 50% invested.

There is one area I would like to take exception with you about, that is; NG prices having a non effect on OSX prices.

The high NG prices are directly affecting drilling permits and rig utilization rates. The rigs counts for oil wells are just starting to creep up off the bottom, but counts for rigs drilling for NG are exploding. The NG story is relatively insulated from OPEC developments. I'm not saying that OS stocks are immune from crude sell offs just that they will perhaps be more contained during this cycle, as investors begin to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

The initial support areas I'm looking at for the OSX are the 105 - 107 area. Still taking it day by day here.

BTW the Saudi's seemed pretty emphatic about defending $23 crude. Anyway maybe I'll see ya in tech land tomorrow. Some good washed out issues over there. Ever check out HLIT. That one is Bullsky's Slideresque "fish that got away"! Bought it at 9 in 97. Sold at 12 a few days later. :o{

How about CTV for "picks and shovel" broadband infrastucture?
