Like we've been saying all along, these people are sick!!!! Let's just rewrite all the laws for the cuban exiles.

It would be a very cold day in hell before this even had chance of a favorable ruling. Good for a laugh, though.

Sharpstein was interviewed on local radio last night. He has been the Twin Cities with relatives observing Passover.

He said last night the first thing he was going to do when he got back was start the civil suits. He said in his legal opinion the agents involved were personally liable and he was probably going after them.

He also supplied a detail I haven't heard anywhere else. He said, according to the survivors, a Cuban military boat buzzed the escapees craft and partially swamped it which is what led to the craft eventually sinking. If so, Fidel murdered Elian's mother as sure as if he put a gun go her head and blew her away.

When is Mr. Sharpstein going to announce his run for Senator or Governor? It sounds like political grandstanding to me.

Well ZooFan, looks like you were WRONG again. LOL. I told you we would be back to remind you that you are a moron!!! [per Message 13498029 and Message 13498154 and Message 13498147 and Message 13498169 and Message 13498210 ] I guess Richard Sharpstein wasn't terribly effective. I'm sure you would have them begging for mercy (for you to stop making them die of laughter). The relatives are angry like you. I doubt you will be allowed near Elian either. Say bye bye Elian. Like I said the day of the raid. It's over. RDFOLMAO at you DoltBoy.

cnn.com

The Miami relatives now appear to have been shut out on any legal claim for access to Elian, and the government-appointed psychologist has recommended that they be kept away from the boy in their current state of anger. The only of Lazaro Gonzalez's requests that was upheld was a ruling forbidding Elian from being taken to places that enjoy diplomatic immunity, which is an extension of the court's previous order that he not be removed from the U.S. While next week's scheduled Senate hearings into the raid on their Miami home will provide an opportunity for the relatives to continue their campaign to keep Elian in the U.S., Thursday's ruling gave little grounds for optimism. Indeed, if the court recognizes Elian's father as his sole legal guardian, that could potentially allow him to withdraw the asylum request filed on the boy's behalf in Miami.

Did I mention ROFDLMAO!!!!
Now shoo away DoltMan

Bye Bye Elian, sorry that our resident legal genius ZlotCan couldn't save you from the evil clutches of Janet Reno and Papa. LOL.
