Several new filings in Irdium BK case at ecf.nysb.uscourts.gov The "sixth stipulation and order..." regarding use of cash collateral indicates the wind down is proceeding briskly. Employee headcount has been reduced from 270 to 20 (as of April 15). Poignantly, the "Background" section starts with the phrase "The Debtors owned and operated a global telecommunications system ... that was designed to permit telephone..." All previous stipulations used the present tense. From other documents, it appears the de-orbit plan is still under negotiations, and the lawyers continue to argue tooth and nail for "their" share of the cash...
