yep, 4,500 is a definite possibility. i'm not happy that the market has refused to collapse right away, but then that was asking for a lot.
i still firmly believe that the volatility is a harbinger of a much worse drop to come sometime this year. i'm a bit uncertain still if June /July will be a high or a low...several inflection dates are coming up that coincide with economic data of some importance...ECI and productivity, April 27/28, May 4/5.
a rally to a high in June/July would allow for a more traditional drop in the aptly named fall...

He has been calling most of these lows. He thinks the next one Friday/Monday BTW.
