The market is still close to tanking. This rally will be short and end tragically. I give it a lifespan of a few weeks at best. Waiting a bit longer just means that enough data and enough hikes will be in that the DOW and the dung will both have good reason to collapse.

In the meantime, expect to hear a lot of stuff like "Some good news today, the economy is slowing..."

I covered yesterday as well when I saw divine intervention. (It was when somebody on CNBC said, "and now, miraculously, IBM is making a big move" that I knew I was hosed). A funny smirk came over my face as I frantically logged on. (no, it wasn't the smile of someone who has just wet his pants.) A significant rally here will make for another chance to buy far out of the money NDX puts for the merry months of June, July.
