Unfortunately Ish, the clash history on this thing is so rich that it will never be resolved. The cultural battle lines are extremely meshed with agendas that all have something to gain by political positioning. Politics has never been about communicating the most reasonable ideas. It has always been about controlling the system to gain the most power for a particular agenda. There are a ton of paradoxes in this thing. When a Woman's reproductive health issue proclaims the need for over a million abortions each year, dragging babies out in breach position while extracting their brains...never mind, I'll stop here. The point is, Dan Schuh was right. Some times it is just politics. It's a damn shame.
