Folks....in searching around, all I found was this that could explain the drop afterhours. Don't shoot me! I'm just the messenger, but rightly or wrongly, it's "out there": _________ After the close, JDS Uniphase (JDSU 93 5/16 +13) reported Q3 earnings of $0.11 a share, $0.01 above the First Call consensus of $0.10, vs year-ago earnings of $0.05; sales soared 155% to $394.6 million which also represented a 40% sequential improvement... JDSU traded down to 87 following the report as investors appeared unimpressed in the wake of Corning's strong results.. Fact that company only beat by a penny shouldn't be too disconcerting, though, as this marks the fifth consecutive quarter in which it has done so.
