Hello rrufff,

One of the areas that I have been looking at over the last several years is the way that I believe we will start to see physical world solutions appearing in the Internet.

First, there are "hierarchies of authority" that we exist in today, and I have proposed a few ways that I believe these will be enforced in the future. A "hierarchy of authority" in the physical world is the fact that I have authorities who control me because of my physical location on earth - The US Government, the State of Utah, an employer, a building owner, etc. Each of these creates layers of "law" that apply to me ... when I move physically to another location, then I move to an alternate set of authorities - maybe some the same, some different.

Likewise on the Internet, I am going to be controlled and influenced by a "hierarchy of authorities" ... most people just don't realize it. It's much like the newspapers and TV today.

Depending on how I will be connected to the Internet, I will be under the authority of any of the entities/ISPs, etc that come between me and my intended destination. My ISP might decide to filter or alter content, my *government* might decide to do this. (I have actually sat down and met with the governments of Singapore and Vietnam ... they both desired this!)

So likewise, I see a structure of "sanctioning" that will start to appear also ... when "we" discover which ISPs are harboring users/applications which cause disruption to normal communications and business process, then we will filter traffic from those locations - creating the same sanctioning powers that we have today in the physical world! ;-)

It's going to be fun and exciting!
