Kelley, re: No! I am not ignoring anything. If you're considering channel width, why make statements like You do not see any talk from them or the DDR manufacturers about 400 MHZ DDR much less 800 MHZ DDR.? You need to consider the channel width when talking clock speeds to get apples to apples comparisons. No stone will be left unturned in search for the truth. So let everyone turn over stones. <g>

Kelley, re: turning over stones. IMO, one of the key's to Groves success was his paranoia. I think Intel once taught a course in "Constructive Confrontation." (Maybe Tench can tell us if they still teach that course to management?) Andy was as interested in the "cons" as the "pros." He solicited inputs from every view when making decisions. I don't think he particularly liked people who only painted rosy scenarios. Some of that culture would be beneficial to any SI thread. JMHO's
