johnd, you have to read between the lines, owing to the impending lawsuit it behooves to company to be slightly negative. The lower the stock falls the greater the opportunities for those that believe in MSFT. How many big caps do you know that have $22 billion in cash $21 billion in investments, $40% Net Margins (I couldn't believe it until I did my dd!!!) and whose only threat is the DOJ. The competition is so weak that only a anachronistic law written in 1890 has been invoked to resist this extremely successful company.

All those pundits that say the PC was being replaced by the internet and wireless devices must have done little deliberation. The internet and pot puri of devices, wired and wireless, will only be an extention of the PC. The PC of the future will have ports to accommodate cell phones, PDA's, MP3 players, cameras and a variety of other remote devices. The evolution of the PC is far from being mature and as technology evolves the PC will even become more embedded in our way of life. MSFT's NGWS will be the beginning of the next phase of hypergrowth in the tech. sector and it will entail Broadband, Wireless, the Internet and all the new technologies in ways we have never seen. Once the yoke of the DOJ is removed, MSFT will double in value within 3 months. Remember you heard it hear!!!!!!
