Why is it that some people get those messages and others don't? Maybe their time has come? Or, Tom would say, they fight their angels?

Maybe the angels are another word for the Tao, the way. So you try to flow with the "way"--you can't force it.

Was thinking back about my own travels--some acquaintances of mine were in Cyprus visiting a famous healer about whom some books had been written. And I wanted to stop by and see them/him since I was in Europe. I knew the town he was in (Stavralos) and their building: Sony Building #5. I told them the day I would arrive and would they leave anote for me as to which apartment they were staying in.

I took the plane to Cyprus and landed at 3 a.m. I had no idea how I"d get to Stavralos. Apparently it was 45 minutes away by car. Anyway, it so happened that the guy who sat next to me in the plane lived in Stavralos, was a businessman, and his chauffeur was waiting for him. So we drove to Stavralos. But I had no street address, just Sony Building #5. Well we figured out where it was. But then I got to the building and there was no note for me--I guess my friends hadn't gotten my message. So we went inside and looked up the air shaft and this Cypriot businessman said, "Well there are still some lights on--heck, let's try that apartment." So we went up in the elevator to one of the apartments that had alight on and rang the bell at 4:30 a.m and the door opened, adn that wasthe apartment my acquaintances were staying in. And nobody seemed surprised.

I decided later either the Cyprus goverment thought I was a spy (apparently Cyprus is a hangout for spies) or I was guided. I remember the whole time I was completely relaxed, I just figured it would all work out fineNormally my state of mind is much more doubting.
