Scumbria,

There are a number of products currently shipping with DDR, and Intel seems to be quite confident in their ability to deliver DDR servers.

There are a few products shipping with DDR soldered in. AMD does not appear to be as confident as Intel -- maybe Intel isn't as far along as AMD and isn't experiencing the problems AMD is.

Regardless, that was a wicked disclaimer in the AMD press release the likes of which I've never seen in a press release before. They're CYA'ing and foreshadowing some of the problems DDR will have, it seems to me. It sure didn't sound like a very confident position.
