good thanks, I wonder if they DELL will continue to treat NAS like they do laptops?

an apt comparison, but perhaps a more apt comparison is that of NAS to OS's. dell doesn't write its own OS. the cost of developing an NAS box or an OS (and to lesser extent, a laptop) is significant. the cost of "developing" a beige box PC is near 0 (i could "develop" one in five minutes from off the shelf parts). it is simply not cost effective to develop something like an NAS in-house. unless the software technologies behind NAS become commodity-like and/or ubiquitous, it will stay that way. why reinvent the wheel?

OT btw, saw your music store site. cool. i love music. will order from you next time i'm buying something. do you have a full e-commerce site up, or will i need to email you?
