Ted David will host Squawk Box Weds morning, and I believe I saw that Kevin K. will be on CNBC Weds morning - if it's during Squawk Box, I think Kevin can be relied on to set him straight. I've had several SI exchanges with Ted and personally find him to be very fair.

CNBC (Tom Costello) again hits us with the morning shortseller spin -- that JDSU may not have done good enough. Wish they would tell us exactly where this is coming from. Then we could determine if their "source" actually has an agenda. As for Ted David, I actually think he believes that by asking his "penetrating" questions he is doing us a favor and saving us from ourselves. Wonder why he thinks were so stupid? Hmmm. Anyway, as patronizing as he seems to be, I guess we should appreciate his concern. Just wish he were smart enough to realize that -- in his simple analysis -- he may not actually know what he is doing (though, as a pure journalist, he seems to do just fine).
