Maybe nothing. My suspicion is the CC may have cast doubt on future margins because of price, volume or mix. How's that? Covered all the bases. But seriously, I know nearly all the brokers are negative on DD makers. They are puzzled that the Christmas slowdown did not materialize, neither January's, nor Y2K, and now they pin their hope on the traditional summer slowdown for tech. By the way, brokers are not alone in this. The savviest writers on these DD threads are pretty negative on the stocks. The only optimists are people who know nothing, such as myself. And maybe a few other lonely souls here and there.

But just so you won't totally despair, keep in mind that AMAT was trashed to a pre-split 22 before it went up 10 fold in the next few months.

Anyway, I bought MXTR today, and will buy more tomorrow on the principle that taking good news at face value is good enough for me. I understand that Prudential analyst re-it her hold rating on MXTR today. But I also know that analysts can be totally wrong. My own view is the DD makers will be minting money by December.

Good luck to you too.
