why do they need enterprise? what effect on the rest of their business if they just dumped it, spun it off, sold it? do they own it in order to have a business after the internet is built out?

what is it, anyway? something that helps firms deal with their customers? what does e-business finance mean?

does all this compete with oracle? if so, i'd rather nortel served their enterprise customer base by outsourcing to oracle, and take back oracle stock for the business they give them. if enterprise is not oracle's space, then sell whatever business it is in to whomever is the leader in that business and take back stock in the company newly serving the nortel enteprise customers.
