There is still hope. But, in my mind, not much. I can't see the court upholding Elian's asylum plea, over Castro's objections.

If Elian is capable of making the decision to seek asylum why can't he also make the decision to go to a Cuban diplomatic mission? Because to visit the mission is not the decision the exiles want him to make. The exiles are on par with Castro.
