It's real easy to be for "truth, justice, freedom and liberty", not to mention the American Way. Most people in the US would probably agree that Castro and his regime are hateful, and want it to fall, but agreeing with goals doesn't mean agreeing with methods. I despise the way ELian has been paraded around for the media, and the way he has been used for political ends, for 2 reasons. One, the impact on the child himself. This is no life for a 6 year old child, even in the "land of freedom." Two, what on earth makes anyone think this will have any impact on Castro's regime? It's all bombast and scoring political points.
