Bobby, you are a hopeless MAC user who rails against MSFT all the time. My point was that just because some court rules something, it doesn't make it right. Courts get it wrong too. That is all.

I don't idolize gates. Just like everybody else he has made mistakes. However, his point that Microsoft bet its future on Windows and that is why it succeeded is correct. Wordperfect, Lotus didn't have UNIX versions that kept up with their Apple and DOS versions. They did not move onto to Windows right away either. This is because each corporation tries to maximize their profits and they (lotus/WP) saw no need to cater to a market (UNIX) that didn;t exist. They also didn't see Windows as the next market. MSFT took a risk and it worked. Microsoft may have been late to the Internet party, but again it bet its future on the internet is continuing to do so. You have to grant credit where it is due...
