The embargo with the States is a bit of a myth, Cuba trades with the rest of the world. The best reason to keep the embargo in place is that Castro is much too smart for North American politicians. Canada just helped build Cuba a new airport, and fat French Canadians love the beaches there. The U.S. will need some type of intervener status with Cuba so they can step in after Castro dies and before the next revolution happens. Cubans will want a real leader it will be interesting to see what happens. Castro is not just their leader he is a legend.
