Is anyone else amazed at JDSU's growth rate when one compares it to the internet stocks? Certainly more difficult to set up a optical components biz than a dot.com.

JDSU's rate of growth coupled with the high barriers to entry in this business makes this a compelling buy.

IMHO, it is a long term stock that will have big gains to come down the road. I am now reluctant to sell it and try to buy at lower prices fearing that I would miss out on the big moves---which IMHO are inevitable.

Going to stop looking at this stock and park the shares.

Have you all considered LUMM or BKHM, both newly listed on the NASDAQ, and in the same industry as JDSU? Both have SI threads.

You're not going to get me started on LUMM, are you? They make Terayon look like Sunday School teachers.
