WSJ speaking of those MSFT options which were "coincidentally" priced at Mondays growth warning induced 52 week low:

"Carl Schmitt, a vice president at West Ward Pay Strategies, Inc in San Francisco, said the grant of 70 million shares had an indicated value of $1.9 billion, based on standard formulas for valuing such options. 'I would strongly guess this is a record,' Mr. Schmitt said. 'It's a very substantial grant.'"
