Sorry you were offended, but CharleyMane doesn't know about the asylum laws and executive orders either so there is nothing for you to rely on there. Cubans have received special treatment since 1960 because Castro was a communist and almost everyone thought he was a bad man. Haitians have been treated differently because there were just too damned many of them, and Duvalier was a fascist. We treat both Cuba and Haiti by interdiction and refuse to land those we catch at sea. Anyone who reaches shore has the same opportunity to file for asylum. In the case of Cuba there is a presumption that they fear persecution. In the case of almost everyone else, there must be some showing of proof, but even so there are generous standards of credibility even for those without documentation.
I still think you are sloppy in your declarations. Be ashamed. I have a higher standard for you.
