John,

We have been harmed. Not by MSFT but by a Judicial system and a hired gun. Corporate envy is now a reason to invoke antitrust regulation?

You people are incredible. How you all continuously blame everyone else but those that commited the actual Anti-Trust laws. You - the shareholders - have been harmed by no one else but the MSFT Senior Exec. It was not the DOJ and Government that broke the anti-trust laws! It was not the other industry players that broke the laws of the land! It was Bill Gates and his tribe of MSFT Execs.

It was just a matter of time before some in the industry would finally stand up and take MSFT to court for their actions. The industry has known for years that MSFT was playing dirty. You are just damn lucky that MSFT was sooo intimidating in the industry that they were not taken to court earlier for their illegal actions.

You sound like a family member of a bank robber that got caught robbing the bank. You blame the police for catching him. You blame the courts for charging him for breaking the laws. You blame the Banks for actually helping the justice system in aprehending the criminal. But you are too emotionally blind to actually even consider blaming the bank robber himself for actually robbing the bank. This robber knew what the laws were and he wanted to push his luck. Well, he finally got caught and the relatives are not happy with the fact that the robber is not bringing home the ill-begotten goods for them to spend!

BLAME THOSE THAT BROKE THE LAW JOHN! Not those that enforce it!

And if you seriously are putting your trust in MSFT's ability to win on appeal - I feel sorry for you.
