Re: Shorting. I hope in 31 days post-IPO AWE is at a shortable level. Re: Gilder. The idiots who confuse a technology review with stock picks deserve everything they get. Gilder is a useful data point in understanding a particular company's IPR and market position, but no substitute for doing valuation DD, looking at a company's non-technology attributes, or for analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the major competitors in whatever field Gilder's ascendent technology company of the month frolics.

A great example is GSTRF, which has terrific technology, but the on the ground folks literally can not market their way out of a wet paper bag.

Suspect that AWE is kind of the opposite - if nothing these people know how to price, market, distribute, etc., but TDMA is a dead-end.

My only point is that "AWE" is based upon archaic technology. "tdma" is inferior to "cdma" technology. "qcom" has won the war.
