The dot.coms that were burning cash have been taken out and shot. Many large cap techs are still trading a premium, but by many measures they deserve it. However, I wouldn't buy them as most of the good news is already priced in at these levels.

However if you do some homework there are quite a few techs that are posting some incredible numbers that are still a good value.

Why be bitter? Why fight what the street wants to own? E&P's are a good safe haven, but don't complain when they don't shoot instantly up to fair value since few understand them, let alone want to own them.

E&P earnings were expected to be great. We've seen this pattern before. I think the time to buy many of these E&P's is a few days/weeks after earnings (if good) as they usually don't sustain momentum. It's in-between the earnings period when they run on next quarters expectations.
