And yet few, such as myself, pointed out that the Euro was a flawed currency. Well, you can't count me in as one of those few. I don't know whether I went so far as to call it flawed, but I certainly recognized that few confederacies have succeeded in tying together already established and independent economies. It didn't work here in the US either, and that is why we created the constitution and strong Federal government. Europe will have to endure the same (Won't that be interesting to watch?) As for gold, I imagine it is selling in sympathy with the Platinum market and the failure of the dollar to collapse as many thought it might. Regards, Ron
