"pre-crash"??? I could name plenty of perfectly good NASDAQ tech companies whose stocks have already dropped 60-80%, that have nothing to do with the Internet. I think a lot of what you observe is just a natural consequence of the price level being twice what it was a while ago. That in and of itself means it more likely tends to precede market declines.
