Yeah... the earnings will be out 12.30 Helsinki time and the CC is at 15.00. Time difference with New York is 7 hours. Probably a lot of volatility between the results and the call - it's the guidance that matters, as Motorola showed. Haven't seen anything about the webcast.

Finnish analysts are sharply out of step with the Wall Street consensus - estimates for profits up to 10-15% above New York. I'm not sure the American analysts are reading the product cycle right. They missed the Motorola slump completely and haven't tried to figure out where the sales went.

The US reports on Nokia are not focusing on the new model line-up. This is curious considering that 1Q 2000 is the first quarter since 3Q 1998 when Nokia has new models out in low-end, mid-level and high-end ranges.
