X, i thought I had covered my ss by using the phrase "lawyers are inclined* to," signifying, I thought, that not all lawyers are. But what do I know about lawyers, anyway? On the other hand, speaking of sses, I still rather doubt that a person who started out* convinced that "the law is an ass" would have become lawyer in the first place. (This generalization does not apply, of course, to disillusioned cynics.) Now, back to some real work! (Paying bills, ugh!)
