Hello Yaacov: I am pretty busy, but still have a chance to keep an eye on this irrational market. I hoped that things would go up for awhile after yesterday. But everyone seems to be worried about the employment numbers coming up. We can't say that earnings in the Techs have not been good. I am just holding on to my stocks for now and hope things straighten up soon.

No. I do not own CPQ anymore. I got rid of compaq when they canned E. Pfeiffer. I posted it at the time and said that I will be from Missouri for awhile. Its the show me state.gg. I'll be home again the middle of next week. You can do some more posting to Bill. He was complaining that he had noone to talk to on Friday's massacre. gg.

Sorry, thats all the time I have right now. Maybe I can write a couple of more posts tomorrow.

Sonny

Good Morning, YAACOV...NAZ & S&P futures both locked limit down...

Best to sit on the fence and watch the carnage...

Take care, capo.

Hello Yaacov. Intel, CPQ, AOL. I am back from my trip to FLA. I read one of your posts on CPQ. I guess you are still holding it. You may remember that I sold my shares when Pfeiffer got canned (I posted it the same day I sold) and it became a Missouri stock for me at that time. Missouri - the show me State. gg. Anyhow, not checking too closely on CPQ these days, I did hear this morning, or maybe it was last night, on Stock Talk that CPQ was a hold or even a possible sell. That manager thought it would be some time before CPQ could get out of its own way.

But here is an article by Frank Cappiello. He lists Intel as the best risk to reward technology stock. I guess this is right down our alley on this thread even though we are not talking about Intel very much. gg.

Dell is having a nice day today. AOL is still stuck in the mud. I guess it will stay there until we hear more on the merger news. ABN Amro set an 85 dollar price target for AOL. But there are higher ones out there. One other one was for 111.

CMRC was put on Goldie Sucks recommended list yesterday. Even though I own CMRC, I can't blame people for not listening much to Goldie. Hope they lose a bit of their cloud. After they downgraded all retailers the other day some are back today, including WMT. Maybe Goldie bought back in cheaper.
